About me

I'm Luka, a software designer passionate about building systems and products that have a long-lasting value. My work deeply resonates with my identity; it's an integral part of who I am.

You can find me online on LinkedIn, Read CV, Instagram, Are.na, Posts, Spotify, Apple Music, and Twitter.

I find joy in testing apps, exploring various tools, experimenting with emerging technologies, and turning ideas into tangible solutions. I firmly believe in the transformative power of well-crafted software, the value of compromise, and the beauty of simplicity. I am an optimist. I understand the significance of effective leadership and collaborative teamwork. I'm passionate about creating music, engaging with like-minded individuals, and pursuing photography. Additionally, I have a fondness for vintage Apple devices.

I hate bullet points.

I love long-form writing, math, puzzles, native apps, and Oxford comma.

When I'm not behind the screen, you'll often find me on my bike, exploring new destinations. Cycling fuels my creativity and offers moments of reflections.

Feel free to reach out if you'd like to build something great or discuss technology—or anything else, for that matter.

MA, Visual Communication Design
Zagreb School of Design, Faculty of Architecture
I proudly hold a master's degree in visual communication design, and I've graduated with a thesis titled 'Design System and its Application in the Context of a Digital Product,' which explored the implementation and transformative potential of design systems to elevate user experiences and product quality. I have a critical yet supportive stance toward formal education.

I joined Zora as a Product Designer, to focus on empowering artists on the blockchain with access to innovative tools for their creative pursuits. My role involved crafting creator and collector tools, implementing social features, and spearheading growth-oriented initiatives.

I've successfully made significant contributions to global design projects, including the design of a robust global navigation architecture and search functionality. Also, I've had a privilege to work on a new and improved global design system, to enable even better design and development process.
At Infobip, I worked as a Product Designer on the Design Operations team, with a focus on managing and building the internal global design system. During my tenure, I successfully supported a team of 30+ designers and more than 100+ developers, actively contributing to the development of the design system's version 2.0.

My role encompassed tasks such as revamping and optimizing design building blocks, meticulous documentation of essential design patterns, and facilitating effective communication of design decisions to development teams.

Additionally, I worked on introducing a streamlined Figma file workflow and played a key role in establishing the logic for a new icon library, ensuring a cohesive and efficient design system for the organization.

I also served as the lead designer on a project that involved integrating the GoodData data visualization platform into all Infobip tools.

Infobip is an omni-channel communications platform for customer support and engagement that leverages customer profiling, custom payload tools, geolocation, chatbots, AI, event-triggered actions, and more to reach over 7 billion mobile devices and 'things' in more than 190 countries connected directly to over 700 telecom networks.
During my time at Bien, I had the privilege of working on digital products and systems for a diverse range of outstanding clients, including Rimac, Sportening, TestHero, TalentLyft and GoodGame.
